Miss Clifford (Room 377, Mipco Section, Overseas Department) of the Ministry of information telephoned me to-day to ask whether we could let her have any
factual offcctual information in regard to the work of
reconstruction being carried out in Hong Kɔng. She had been advised by P.I.D. that "good work was being dɔne" and if so she was anxious to give it publicity. I said that we had had little information, but that I would send her what we had for selection, and she agreed, before issuing any thing, to get in touch with us again.
